Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
Frono (“Frono”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Frono website and how we use, store, and protect that information.
By using Frono, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us when you use Frono. Depending on how you use the service, this may include:
- Your responses to Frono questions.
- Information you provide when you contact us, including through the suggestion and feedback forms.
- Technical information associated with your visit, such as your browser, device type and IP address. Frono’s own records keep only the country you are connecting from; the rest reaches our service providers, as described in section 5.
- A small amount of information stored on your own device, described in section 4.
You do not need to provide your name or any other identifying information to browse Frono or to answer a Frono question. Frono has no accounts and no sign-up.
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate Frono.
- Record and analyse responses to Frono questions.
- Understand how people use the service and improve the experience.
- Maintain the security and reliability of the website.
- Detect, prevent, and address misuse or technical problems.
- Respond to communications and support requests.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where responses are used for research, analysis, or editorial purposes, we use aggregated information so that individual users are not identified.
3. Your Frono Responses
Frono is built around your judgments and responses to questions.
Your responses may be stored and analysed to understand patterns in how people respond to questions and to improve Frono. Responses are recorded against a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your name or contact details.
Your individual response is never shown to another user. Only the aggregate split across all responses is shown.
We will not publicly associate your responses with your name or other identifying information unless you have expressly agreed to this.
4. Information Stored on Your Device
Frono stores a small amount of information on your own device so that the service works as intended — for example, which questions you have already answered and which language you prefer to read in.
Frono does not use advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics.
You can clear this information through your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party service providers to operate parts of the service, including website hosting and data storage.
These providers may process information on our behalf and are permitted to use that information only as necessary to provide their services or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Like every website, our providers keep their own standard records of requests made to the site.
We do not sell information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating and improving Frono, maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations.
Responses to Frono questions are retained as part of the aggregate record of how people answered. Where an anonymous identifier has been inactive for an extended period, it may be removed. Information you send through the suggestion and feedback forms is retained for as long as it is needed to consider and act on it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Request a copy of certain information in a portable format.
Because Frono does not collect information that identifies you, we may be unable to locate information relating to a particular person, and we may be unable to act on a request where we cannot establish that the information relates to you.
To exercise applicable rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Children’s Privacy
Frono is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where such collection is prohibited by applicable law.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in circumstances where we should not have collected it, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete the information.
10. International Data Transfers
Frono and its service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate measures to provide adequate protection for information transferred internationally.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how Frono handles information, you can email questions@fronotoday.com, or contact us through the feedback form.
